Advanced Extrication Training Completed

posted Mar 6, 2011 9:29 AM by Ken Love

The Bushnell's Basin Fire Department held an advanced extrication training in March for it's members to advance their skills. We are a diverse community with limited access highways that causes quite a challange for vehicle extrication. We are exposed to a number of situations and vehicle accidents at any time. We are lucky enough to have a very skilled instructor in our departmnet. Past Chief and current Lieutenant, Todd Bane has developed an extremely comprehensive training program, from skills he has obtained from training he has obtained, as an instructor. We have been able to develop our skills as firefighters through his knowledge. We our proud to have our own extrication team which attends competitions all over the country! Due to the diligence of our training, Bushnell's Basin is proud to be a leader in this service to our community!

Thank you Todd for your efforts!
