Our chiefs went out west to check the progress of our new heavy rescue truck. The truck is completed and should be on duty soon.

Bushnell’s Basin along with mutual assist from Pittsford and Egypt responded for smoke in the house this afternoon on Hunter’s Run.

After our Monday drill we always have a some snacks but this week was very special in that our neighbors near Hunter's Run sent us some large cookie trays and a wonderful card! This was in thanks for our work on the Hunter's Run fire we put out on the 22nd.

Bushnell’s Basin with mutual assist from Pittsford responded for a house fire late last night on 62 Hunters Run. 3C28 was on location with flames through the roof. Command reported a working fire in a one story ranch with fire through the roof. Fairport responded as the FAST and the fire was under control in about 30 minutes. Egypt with mutual assist from Bushnell’s Basin responded for an apartment fire on Boxwood Lane. Car 803 went on location with smoke and fire showing. 3C23 reported a working fire with fire in the walls and between the floors. Fairport responded as the FAST team while Fishers provided a fill in company. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
